If I'm going to be in a relationship with someone I want it to be a real relationship with love, support, loyalty and enjoying life together.

The journey is long so your perspective will keep on changing as you reach different stages in life. What’s right in your eyes today might be wrong tomorrow, but ultimately, it is only relative to your state of mind. Since you’re the judge here, then just accept it. As for losing face or whatever, that’s only your pride getting in the way.
